The initial brand and packaging design for Mauro Provisions—a new craft giardiniera from Chicago chef and TV personality Jeff Mauro—was developed to capture the bold, flavorful spirit of the city. Founded in 2020 on a kitchen island in Chicago’s Northwest Side, Mauro Provisions was born from Jeff Mauro’s vision to create elevated, Chicago-inspired foods for all to enjoy. Working in close collaboration with Jeff, I crafted a distinctive brand identity that celebrates his deep Chicago roots while breaking through the visual clutter of the crowded specialty foods market. The result is a clean, modern aesthetic that sets Mauro Provisions apart and reflects its mission to bring big flavor with local pride.
